Birth Doula
in Southern Oregon
Hi! I’m Shivaani. Thanks for being here, I can’t wait to meet you! A little bit about me: I dearly value family, connection, and helping others.
I am absolutely in awe of the miracle of birth, and I have a great love for supporting families through this incredible threshold. I offer continuous emotional, physical, and mental support in labor, as well as prenatal visits, and postpartum care.
As a mother of three, I know deeply the value and need for added support at this monumental time in life.
Testimonials
“Her aura was soft and calming. You can tell some women are meant for this job and this is definitely her calling, I hope she helps many other mothers with this sensitive time in their lives, I will want her at every birth from now on and wouldn’t want it any other way!”
“Hiring Shivaani was the best decision we made during the postpartum period. She has an incredible ability to jump in and anticipate needs before you even realize you have them. During one of the most challenging times of my life with sleep deprivation and postpartum anxiety she cared for me and my family with compassion and competence.
She did contact naps with our baby, which gave me much-needed rest and peace of mind, and she also prepared nourishing meals (her kitchari and ghee are phenomenal!), tidied the kitchen and house, made our bed, etc. Every small task she took on felt like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.”
“I felt truly cared for during her time with us, and her presence was calm, warm, and supportive. I highly recommend her for anyone looking for postpartum doula services. She goes above and beyond to ensure mom, dad, and baby are nurtured. If you’re considering her, don’t hesitate—it’s one of the best investments you can make for your family.”
“Shivaani was kind, understanding and was able to help us think of ideas of how we would want the setting of the hospital room. She also helped explain and understand any medical questions and helped with paperwork as I was busy getting ready to have the baby.”
